What to expect
Day 1: SGR – Morogoro – Mikumi National Park
Your safari begins upon arrival at the SGR station at 11:00 AM, where our professional driver-guide will welcome you and begin the journey toward Mikumi National Park. You will travel via Morogoro town, with an optional stop for lunch and a short rest before continuing the trip (lunch not included).
Upon arrival at Mikumi National Park and after completing entry procedures, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive until around 5:00 PM. During the safari, you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species in their natural habitat.
In the evening, you will check in at your lodge or campsite located inside Mikumi National Park. Relax and enjoy the peaceful wilderness atmosphere. Dinner is available at the lodge and you will spend the night inside the park.
Day 2: Morning Safari – Morogoro – SGR
On the second day, you will wake up early for a morning game drive that continues until 10:00 AM. Early mornings are the best time to see active wildlife, especially predators. After the safari, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and then check out.
You will then depart Mikumi and travel back to Morogoro town, where you will stop for lunch in town before continuing your journey. After lunch, you will proceed to the SGR station to catch your 04:00 PM train back home, marking the end of your memorable Mikumi safari experience.

· Up to 15 days before trip: Full refund minus the non-refundable 30% advance
· 8–14 days before trip: 30% cancellation fee
· 2–7 days before trip: 50% cancellation fee
· Within 48 hours / no-show: No refund
Rescheduling is possible up to 8 days before trek (subject to availability and any supplier penalties).
