Guided Mbudya Island Trail Tour.
A clearly designated trail on the island winds among historical ruins, palms of coconuts baobab trees, and coastal vegetation. Small animals, harmless snakes like pythons, and various insects that are a part of the island's distinct environment may be encountered throughout the route. There is a beach banda where you may relax, enjoy fresh fruit and water, and observe the peaceful setting.
Swimming and Beach Relaxation
Following the walk, visitors can swim in the sparkling turquoise waters, rest on the silky white sand, or just listen to the quiet waves, providing the ideal combination of culture, nature, and lifelong island memories.

Itinerary
Departure and Arrival
The day starts at 10:00 AM with a boat departure from Dar es Salaam. Depending on the state of the sea, the trip across the Indian Ocean takes around an hour. After receiving a brief welcome briefing upon arriving to Mbudya Island, visitors will have some time to unwind and get ready for the upcoming activities. Before preparing for the island nature walk, guests will also be shown a beach banda (resting hut) where they can securely store their stuff. As visitors are ready to start their guided tour of the island, drinking water will be available to keep them comfortable.
Island Exploration
The guided Mbudya Island trail excursion starts on Mbudya Island. Visitors will explore the island's natural beauties while taking a leisurely and safe stroll along a well-marked and well-built trail. Baobab trees, historical ruins, coconut palms , small animals, harmless snakes like pythons, and other insects that are a part of the island's natural ecology may all be seen along the route. There will be drinking water available. To ensure a valuable and unforgettable experience, the guide will discuss the island's ecological significance, history, and cultural significance. Visitors can take in endless views of the surrounding water from several locations along the beachfront as they walk.
Ocean Leisure and Return
After the guided Mbuya trail walk is over, visitors can have some leisure time by the ocean on Mbudya Island. During this time, visitors can take a walk along the perfect white sand beach, swim in the refreshing turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, or just unwind while taking in the peaceful island environment. In addition to a beach banda (resting hut) where visitors may easily sit, unwind, and enjoy the cool sea breeze while taking in the stunning ocean views, drinking water and fresh fruit will be available to keep guests refreshed. The serene setting provides the ideal setting for relaxing, taking memorable pictures, and completely appreciating the island's natural beauty. Guests will end the day with priceless memories of their island journey when they board the boat for a beautiful return trip to Dar es Salaam later in the afternoon.
